About Me

hi

SCHOOL: Armour Heights P.S.

GRADE: 2/3 ROOM: 202

SCHOOL PHONE: (416) 397-2950

Dear Parents/Guardians:

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and welcome you and your child to our classroom. As a teacher and a parent myself, I recognize the added angst and concern that we are all experiencing amid the Covid-19 pandemic.  Together we will strive to create as safe and beneficial experience as possible in these times.

Having worked at Armour Heights since 1998, I have had the privilege of teaching students from grades 3 to 6 in the Armour Heights Community for some time. I recognize Armour Heights’ reputation of quality education and I am committed to ensuring your child’s experience this year is indeed a quality one.  There is no denying the importance computer technology has in education and our society in general.  Consequently, I will strive to incorporate this valuable tool in the different strands of the curriculum.

A good learning experience is built on a collaborative effort among parent, child, and teacher.  Your continued support will ensure an academic, productive, creative, and fun year for your child.  To that end, I would appreciate your assistance in completing the attached information form.  This form will help me to better understand and accommodate you and your child’s needs.

In today’s world, success requires effective communication.  Consequently, communications between child, parent, and teacher must be open.  Please feel free to contact me via e-mail (terry.nitsou@tdsb.on.ca) or over the school phone (416) 397-2950.  I am excited to once again be a part of the Armour Heights team and I am looking forward to a very successful school year for your child.

Respectfully,

Terry Nitsou
